Golden Care seeks a Caregiver for Back-up Care to support families with short-term caregiving for children and adults. You will step into safe, nurturing environments to ensure kids and seniors are happy, secure, and engaged while parents manage work duties.

The role offers flexible hours, onboarding training, CPR/First Aid certification support, and opportunities for ongoing assignments within a community-focused program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED; Early Childhood coursework is a plus.
• Experience caring for children or adults in home, center, or school.
• Able to complete a background check (Livescan/Checkr) and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Friendly, reliable and flexible in diverse environments.
• Register with California DSS as required and pass TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care, supervision, and activities for children and adults.
• Follow routines and care plans to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain open communication with families and the Bright Horizons team.
• Support daily routines including meals, rest, play, and learning activities.
• Keep a clean, organized environment.
