Job summary

Circle K in Veneta, Oregon is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to provide friendly customer service, operate cash registers, stock merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness and safety. The role covers daytime, evenings, overnights and weekends with flexible shifts.

You'll handle transactions, assist customers with recommendations, monitor inventory, and follow company procedures for loss prevention and basic recordkeeping. Prior retail experience preferred; HS diploma or GED encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to operate cash registers and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
• Greets customers and thanks them as they leave.
• Gives assistance and recommendations to customers.
• Rings up sales accurately on cash register.
• Performs multiple tasks at the fuel console and other machines.
• Maintains dressing and appearance per policy.
• Completes build-to’s and verifies deliveries.
• Maintains stock and rotates inventory.
• Displays signs and pricing in store areas.
• Assists in inventory control and shift audits.
• Keeps cash and inventory records accurately; reports discrepancies.
• Follows company guidelines for breakage or spoilage.
• Reports incidents to Store Manager and ensures safety.
