Job summary

You will learn lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales policies to ensure age verification compliance. Tasks include stocking, merchandising, and occasional cross-training in other departments, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales in accordance with age verification laws.
• Upsell products and provide friendly service to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and parking area.
• Stock shelves and displays; maintain a neat, organized store.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed and follow safety procedures.
