Visiting Angels Sacramento Midtown is hiring a Short Shift Caregiver to support local clients in Davis, Sacramento and surrounding areas. Earn $19.00-$21.00 per hour, with flexible part-time and full-time shifts and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Physical endurance for lifting and assisting clients
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties per dietary constraints
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (background check)
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients' days
• Ability to use a smartphone for EVV and caregiver notes
• Pass extensive background checks including Live Scan
• Negative TB screening within 90 days
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry

Responsibilities

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene
• Managing light housekeeping
• Encouraging clients to meet exercise and fitness goals
• Prompting clients to take medications on time
• Shopping for groceries or assisting with shopping
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients
• Assisting with mobility and ambulation
• Report health changes and unusual circumstances promptly
