Job summary

Addus HomeCare is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Rockford, TN. This entry-level role offers flexible hours and the chance to learn quality home care while supporting seniors and people with disabilities in independent living.

As a DSP you will follow care plans, assist with personal care, housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and help with medications administration under supervision. Earn up to $15.68 per hour with weekly pay options and direct deposit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of in-home care experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments and daily errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (no administering).
• Observe and report changes in member's condition.
