Job summary

Sedgebrook in Lincolnshire, IL is seeking caregivers for flexible Part-Time and PRN roles. You will provide one-on-one support to residents in their apartments, helping with daily living, mobility, and companionship, enabling independence with dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for timekeeping and care documentation.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Encourage residents to remain active, engaged, and independent.
• Accompany residents to appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation and occasional pet care.
• Document services provided using a mobile app.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to supervisors.
• Participate in required training and team meetings.
