Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries. You will view and claim open shifts via our exclusive platform, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience. You may work irregular shifts with short notice.

Payrate is $24.70 per hour. Security experience 1+ years preferred, high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed, per state).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; strong writing ability.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately.
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire departments as needed.
• Warn violators of rules and carry out client requirements.
• Permit authorized persons to enter and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents; prepare reports; maintain post logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
