Job summary

Walden Security is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to patrol and monitor industrial and commercial sites, ensure safety, and handle incidents with professionalism. You will respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, and coordinate with management to maintain secure premises.

The role includes patrolling interior and exterior areas, deterring unauthorized access, and supporting emergency response efforts. Training is provided and opportunities exist for advancement within Walden Security.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• License requirements: State Security Officer License and weapons certification where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license if driving position; CPR/AED/First Aid may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Patrols buildings and grounds; confer with management, interview guests and employees; detect infringements and investigate disturbances.
• Patrols public areas to detect fires and unsafe conditions; ensure security of doors, windows and gates.
• Operate and monitor thermostatic controls; log inspections; report irregularities and damages.
• Detain or deter unauthorized persons; notify authorities as needed; manage traffic at plant entrances.
• Drives radio-equipped patrol car; checks alarms and locates alarm sources; respond to emergencies.
