Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Flex Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets across client sites. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED is required, plus basic computer skills. Prior security or military experience is a plus; successful candidates will undergo pre-employment screening and can expect weekly

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work independently.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills required.
• Prior security, law enforcement or military experience is a plus.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain calm under pressure.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with quick, effective judgement.
• Strong observational and communication abilities with quick decision-making.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal standards.
• Protect sensitive information and property from unauthorized access.
• Perform conflict resolution and de-escalation as needed.
• Control access at entrances/exits and conduct regular patrols.
• Monitor surveillance systems and security equipment.
