Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Weekend Patrol in Concord, CA. The role provides 30–40 hours per week with a rotating schedule and opportunities for growth.

You will perform patrols, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and complete reports, with a pay rate of $24.47 per hour and room for advancement within Allied Universal’s diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work varying shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be willing to travel varying distances.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
