Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on availability, building a schedule that fits you while gaining site experience.

You may be asked to work irregular shifts with little notice. Pay is $17.50 an hour and weekly pay, with opportunities for hands-on growth in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment in accordance with laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed, where required).
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and consoles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; public interactions.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire in emergencies.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate incidents and maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as needed.
