Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in California. The role uses a shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts across healthcare, education, finance, and more. Must have all training certificates and an active California Guard Card.

Shifts include morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight; days cover all seven days. Expect irregular shifts with short notice, great flexibility, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Active California Guard Card is required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen as per law.
• Must have valid driver’s license if driving company or customer vehicles.
• Be at least 18 years old; armed if state requires.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
