Job summary

DSI Security Services is seeking a Full Time Flex Security Officer for the Birmingham area. This role requires open availability and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.

You will safeguard client environments, perform patrols, and follow post-specific instructions in collaboration with clients and team members. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a Texas security license, with background checks and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with effective written and oral communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
• Open availability to work flexible hours.
• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and Texas Security License.
• Reliable means of transportation and communication.
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report hazards.
• Understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting as required.
• Work in all-weather elements as needed
