Job summary

Securitas Security Services is seeking a Flex Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for our clients. The role involves monitoring premises, patrolling, enforcing regulations, and assisting employees and visitors.

No prior experience necessary; training provided. You will perform access control, respond to incidents, and report on security activities while upholding the company's values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work any day/time, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Reliable communication and transportation.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening (drug test, background check).

Responsibilities

• Access control: manage admittance to client sites and screen visitors.
• Customer service: provide courteous, professional interactions reflecting on the client and security team.
• Monitoring: observe entrances/exits and remote access points; deter unauthorized entry and address disturbances calmly.
• Patrolling: inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for hazards or violations.
• Incident response: protect evidence, set barriers, and respond to emergencies.
• Reporting: maintain logs, write reports, and communicate incidents to client representatives.
