Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Flex Multi Site Patrol in Draper, UT. You will work 30–40 hours weekly with a mix of manager-assigned and Earn More, Claim-A-Shift self-scheduling to fit client needs.

Pay rate is $19.94 per hour. This role offers growth opportunities within a leader in security, with irregular shifts and short-notice scheduling to support diverse client requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.
• Willing to schedule last-minute shifts on short notice.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening conducted as required by law.
• State/local licensing as required; driving position may require a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in emergencies.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate accidents and incidents; maintain required written logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
