Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in Chico, CA. The role involves patrolling designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitoring for security concerns, and responding to emergencies while maintaining professional interactions with clients and staff.

You will use a shift-pickup platform to claim openings, building a varied site experience across industries and opportunities for growth. Must be at least 18 and able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required; 18+ years of age or as required by state law.
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and monitor consoles.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols by foot or vehicle in designated areas.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and respond to hazards.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire department in emergencies.
• Control access and monitor entrances/exits to protect property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
