Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients acrossHealthcare, Education, Finance and more. The role leverages our shift-pickup platform to assemble a flexible schedule, offering hands-on experience and growth opportunities.

Irregular shifts may occur with little notice, making reliability and adaptability essential. The position is part-time and pays $20.00 per hour, with responsibilities spanning patrols, access control, incident reporting, and customer

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation and drug screen as per law; Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; active listening and problem-solving.
• Ability to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
