Job summary

BrightBee is seeking a Food Service Worker to support school dining programs. You’ll assist with preparation, presentation and service of meals for students, staff and events, following standard recipes and health and safety rules.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, coordinating with the Food Service Director and drivers, ensuring on-time service, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This role offers flexible, app-based work with several sites and days per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Must be able to pass 50 lb lift test.
• Previous catering/food service experience.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to menu and recipes.
• Meet health, safety and sanitary procedures.
• Complete accurate production records per USDA requirements.
• Coordinate with staff and drivers to ensure timely service.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Assist with stocking and setting up serving lines.
