Meijer is hiring a Pharmacist for our Danville, IL store location. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate patients, and mentor pharmacy technicians while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced community setting.

You must be a licensed pharmacist in Illinois, with experience in retail pharmacy and a commitment to regulatory compliance and immunization services. Join our team to support community health and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or PharmD required.
• Licensed pharmacist in the practice state.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist where applicable.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians; oversee technicians.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Provide immunizations and clinical services where allowed.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Prioritize workload with strong organizational skills.
