British Swim School of Brentwood-Antioch is hiring a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills and promote water safety in a fun environment. Responsibilities include lesson planning, assessment of student skills, and communication with parents. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and strong communication skills, and previous experience as a swim instructor is preferred. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard is preferred.
• Current lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach water acclimation, survival, and stroke development skills.
• Emphasize water safety principles.
• Evaluate swimming abilities and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Develop and organize engaging lesson plans.
• Communicate progress updates to students and parents.
• Demonstrate swimming techniques effectively.
• Maintain a safe and clean swimming environment.
• Communicate student progress.
• Assist in awarding certificates or badges.
• Stay current with industry trends and certifications.
