Job summary

Mindful Sprouts is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for contract work in Florida. You will support a licensed SLP to deliver direct therapy, implement treatment plans, and assist with assessments in a child-centered setting.

You will work closely with therapists across disciplines, maintain detailed records, and participate in ongoing professional development while ensuring HIPAA compliance and ASHA guidelines. This is a flexible contract opportunity.

Qualifications

• Active Florida SLPA license.
• Experience in a clinic or school setting preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and directions from supervising SLPs.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language therapy sessions per treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Collect accurate data for progress monitoring and documentation.
• Assist the supervising SLP with non-diagnostic screenings and preparation for assessments.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and resources for assessments.
• Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and data logs in compliance with policies and laws.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising SLP about client progress and observations.
• Collaborate with SLPs, Occupational Therapists, and ABA teams for integrated care.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ASHA standards.

Education

Associate's degree in SLPA

Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders with clinical training
