Ulta Beauty seeks a Stylist to consult with guests on hair care needs and deliver high-quality services, including hair design, color, and makeup applications. You will support management in achieving service sales and guest experience targets while maintaining professional standards and appearance.

The role requires a cosmetology license, prior salon experience, and a passion for beauty. A flexible schedule and strong customer relationships are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous salon experience preferred.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed sales goal of $800 average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services by delivering exceptional guest service and contributing to goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Demonstrate business acumen with understanding of business drivers and opportunities for growth.
• Perform product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives for an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Develop guest relationships through consultations and appropriate retail and service recommendations.
• Demonstrate high standards of customer service and salon image standards.
• Serve all guests, including walk-ins, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail team to provide total-store guest experience.
• Establish professional partnerships with brand teams to enhance guest service.
