Qualifications

• Current TB Skin test.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bachelor's of Nursing from an accredited nursing facility.
• Current compact state Registered Nurse license.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
• Promote patient's independence by teaching patients, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.
• Adhere to therapeutic standards and regulations; measure health outcomes against goals and standards; follow state nursing board guidelines.
• Resolve patient problems by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
