Job summary

maurices is seeking a Store Manager in Sterling, IL to lead a high-performance team of 8-20 associates, including 3-4 managers, and to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and operational ownership within a vibrant retail setting.

You will direct staffing, training, onboarding, and performance management while controlling store expenses and ensuring omni-channel alignment.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience required; specialty retail store management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to identify and develop talent and influence a positive team atmosphere.
• Ability to make sound decisions, take action, and achieve results.
• Computer Proficiency is necessary.
• Availability to work day, evening, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspiring and directing a team focused on customer obsession and driving and achieving goals (sales, loyalty, talent).
• Leading talent selection, associate development, onboarding, training and retention.
