Job summary

Walgreens is hiring for a retail associate to deliver a distinctive customer experience at the checkout and throughout the store. You will greet customers, provide assistance with products and services, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout using the store’s systems.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, processing transactions, recommending items, and maintaining displays. Training is provided; flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register; handles cash and returns.
• Recommends items for sale and trade-ups; suggests companion items.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; takes inventory and prices merchandise.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Assists with separation of food items and stock rotation; restocks as needed.
• Constructs and maintains displays; completes resets as directed.
• Provides photo area service and web-pickup assistance.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
