Elwyn in Kentucky is seeking a compassionate team member to provide support services to adults with mental health challenges, emphasizing recovery, personal growth, and community integration.

The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, conducting IAP and crisis planning input, and facilitating recovery-oriented activities while maintaining a trauma-informed approach. A current driver’s license and willingness to transport clients are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, BA in Human Service field preferred.
• Certified as a Peer Support Specialist including lived experiences and writing skills required.
• Crisis Intervention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets newly enrolled consumers after screening to begin to develop therapeutic rapport.
• Works with person served in recovery across mental health, daily living skills, housing, and social activities.
• Serves as part of the interdisciplinary team in engagement, IAP and crisis planning.
• Provides input on goals for the Individual Action Plan focusing on recovery education, life skills and wellness.
• Facilitates recovery-focused activities and peer-led groups to empower participation.
• Promotes trauma-informed practices and maintains a recovery-based environment.
