Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a caregiver to assist with activities of daily living, including meal planning, bathing, dressing, and personal care. The role also involves light housekeeping and facilitating access to community resources and appointments.

The incumbent will complete Daily Activity Logs and Contact Summaries, adhere to safety policies, and follow established care plans while maintaining flexibility to meet family needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, e.g., eating, meal planning, bathing, dressing, hygiene/toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to health and well-being (bed-making, dusting, vacuuming).
• Help access community resources, shopping, and appointments.
• Accurately complete and submit Daily Activity Logs and Contact Summaries.
• Adhere to safe transportation procedures.
• Follow protocol for I/A and Serious Incident reports.
• Maintain flexibility to work a schedule based on family needs.
• Attend trainings/in-services and update information as requested.
• Follow Activity Plan/family instructions for personal care.
• Keep supervisor informed of pertinent information.
