UFC GYM - Whitestown, IN is seeking an energetic Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and results-driven classes. The ideal candidate motivates participants of all fitness levels and delivers clear cueing, structured workouts, and modifications as needed.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering classes, selecting music, guiding form, and ensuring equipment safety. Excellent communication and a professional appearance are essential in a fast-paced gym environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of exercise science and safe training techniques.
• Understanding of anatomy and kinesiology.
• Experience with group fitness instruction, including music timing and cueing.
• High energy level and physical stamina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, effective group fitness classes.
• Select appropriate music and incorporate safe, well-paced choreography.
• Demonstrate exercises while providing clear cueing and smooth transitions.
• Educate participants on proper form, modifications, and contraindications.
• Ensure safe use of all equipment and enforce studio guidelines.
• Welcome and orient new participants.
• Motivate members and create a positive, inclusive class environment.
• Monitor participants and make real-time adjustments as needed.
• Arrive prepared and start/end classes on schedule.
• Set up and properly store all equipment.
• Accurately record hours in the electronic timekeeping system.
• Operate studio sound and lighting systems.
• Secure substitutes when necessary.
• Communicate member feedback or concerns to the Program Manager.
• Promote gym programs, services, and special events.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
