Palmer Ranch Center for Rehab and Healing in Sarasota, FL is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for part-time, hourly employment. The role involves delivering nursing care for residents in long-term and rehabilitative settings, following Nursing Practice Act guidelines and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
• A minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care or long-term care setting.
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Works using the Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
• Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care delivered to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitation care.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
• Implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• Directs and supervises care provided by other nursing personnel.
• Maintains confidentiality and compliance with patient/resident rights.
