Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is hiring a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using established nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies, maintain practice standards, and coordinate patient care with the nursing team.

Qualified candidates hold a Georgia RN license (or NLC/eNLC), BLS certification, and relevant hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program
• New Graduates eligible
• Current License in Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Maintains standards of practice, coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Education

Registered Nurse license (GA or NLC/eNLC Multistate)

BLS certification

Bachelor's degree preferred
