Job summary

Staples is hiring Sales Associates to deliver exceptional customer service, help customers find products, and support returns or online pickups. You’ll join a friendly, team-oriented retail culture with on-the-spot interviewing opportunities.

You’ll multitask across cashier, sales, and merchandising, respond to customer needs, and create an inviting store atmosphere. Flexible hours and benefits accompany compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
• Must engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Collaborate in a high paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Lift/move materials in the 10–50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk.
• Preferred but not required: customer service or cashier experience in retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Multitask on cashier, sales, and merchandising responsibilities.
• Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests and concerns.
• Create a positive, inviting environment for customers.
• Understand and use basic selling skills to engage and present solutions.
• Handle returns and online pick-ups.
• Be flexible on responsibilities (e.g., cleaning, stocking shelves, other duties as assigned).
