Job summary

SFS is growing its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers a flexible schedule with project-based pay and opportunities to work with major retailers and brands across the United States.

Assignments vary from merchandising and resets to inventory audits and display maintenance, typically 12–20 hours per month. You will travel between locations and report progress via mobile devices. DailyPay is available to enrolled contractors.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Availability to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
