Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers for our nationwide independent contractor network. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands, with assignments typically 12–20 hours per month.

Use mobile devices to report progress, travel between locations, and support display maintenance and product resets. Ideal candidates have merchandising or related experience, can read planograms, and work independently with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
