Job summary

SFS is growing and seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers for our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to pick projects that fit your availability and provide supplemental income through project-based pay.

Assignments range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first half of each month. Travel between retail locations is expected, and DailyPay may be available after enrollment.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail is preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
