Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. These roles offer flexible, project-based work across the United States, with typical projects requiring 12–20 hours per month and occasional early-month service windows.

You will review instructions, perform merchandising tasks, and report via mobile devices while traveling between retailer locations. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and presented well.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.
