Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store services. You will interact with customers and support departments from Health and Beauty Care to Outdoor and Seasonal sections.

Responsibilities include cart pickup, trash collection, snow removal, returns, cleaning, and assisting in service areas. This fast-paced role requires organization and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
