Job summary

Barton Associates is seeking a radiologist for a 78-day locum tenens assignment at a Massachusetts hospital. The schedule is flexible with 2-3 shifts per week, from 8 am to 5 pm, starting 10/13/2025.

The ideal candidate is MQSA certified and experienced in breast imaging, including mammography, 3D mammography, ultrasound and biopsies, with Massachusetts licensure and availability for possible extension.

Qualifications

• MQSA certification required.
• Massachusetts license required.
• Experience with breast imaging and interventional procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital screenings and 3D mammography.
• Conduct diagnostic mammography and ultrasound procedures.
• Carry out breast biopsies.
• Handle approximately 30-35 screenings per shift.
• Manage 10 diagnostic procedures (mammography and ultrasound) per shift.
• Perform 2-4 biopsies per shift.
• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system.
