Job summary

Marina Pointe Healthcare and Subacute in Culver City, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a Part-Time or PRN role in a skilled nursing and subacute setting. The position offers flexible scheduling with the potential for full-time employment as caseload grows and patient demand increases.

As part of a supportive rehabilitation team, you will implement individualized plans of care under supervision, deliver therapeutic interventions, document outcomes, and educate residents

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in California.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Successful NPTE for PTA exam.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Implement resident treatment plans in alignment with the plan of care.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions for strength, mobility, balance, and functional performance.
• Monitor, document, and report resident responses and changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies.
• Complete accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
• Maintain HIPAA, infection control, OSHA standards, and patient rights.
• Support discharge planning and transition-of-care activities.
• Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and quality initiatives.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
