Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the Resource Pool for the Southside Hampton Roads Area. Weekend and weekday hours are flexible with a premium hourly rate.

You will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehab programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and address disabling conditions from disease or injury. The role requires a Bachelor's or higher in Physical Therapy, VA license, and BLS, with at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy is required.
• VA License - Physical Therapy is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of experience in physical therapy is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
