Job summary

Newman Regional Health in Emporia, KS is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team with flexible options for full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide individualized therapy plans to promote recovery, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Kansas PTA license.
• Experience in outpatient therapy is a plus.
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, treat patients with individualized, evidence-based therapy plans.
• Provide physical therapy services that promote recovery, mobility, and independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe and effective rehabilitation practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
