Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Decatur, IL. This independent contractor role focuses on stocking, merchandising, and project-based store support to elevate brand presentation.

You will execute displays, resets, and promotions, while building strong relationships with store teams and reporting via mobile tools. Ideal candidates are proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising or consumer packaged goods preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable using smartphones for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports, including photos and detailed feedback using mobile tools.
• Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Maintain quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
