Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide outpatient care in Federal Occupational Health clinics across Washington, DC. Work days are weekday daytime hours with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Expect a flexible schedule and opportunities to travel between clinic sites to support federal employees. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of nursing experience, an accredited nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN), an active RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on clinical nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ASN, or BSN).
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Self-directed, reliable, and confident in autonomous nursing practice.
• Willingness to travel to multiple DC clinic locations with 3 weeks' advance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide walk-in care for routine injuries and illnesses in an outpatient federal clinic setting.
• Deliver on-the-spot emergency response, including CPR when needed.
• Perform preventive health services, including immunizations and blood pressure screenings.
• Rotate among multiple federal clinic sites in D.C. with ample notice as part of a multidisciplinary team.
