Qualifications

• Active Texas RRT license in good standing.
• Prior clinical nursing experience in acute, long-term, or similar settings preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and available for PRN/per diem scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical assessments across assigned healthcare settings
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, applying critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and respiratory documentation
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
