Job summary

Medcor is seeking a Float Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for Quad Cities. This PRN Days role supports employer-based occupational health clinics across the Quad Cities, with no insurance billing or productivity quotas.

Flexible weekday shifts and collaboration with clinical and operational teams offer meaningful patient care and work‑life balance. You’ll perform DOT physicals, return‑to‑work evaluations, and preventive/wellness services, while delivering evidence‑based

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• DOT certification (or ability to obtain within six months).
• Strong computer skills and EMR proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Occupational health experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional clinical care and customer service.
• Treat injuries and illnesses using Evidence‑Based Medicine.
• Perform medical surveillance examinations.
• Complete DOT physical examinations.
• Performing return‑to‑work evaluations.
• Educating patients on medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Coaching employees on healthy lifestyle behaviors.
• Supporting workplace wellness initiatives.
• Collaborating with health, safety, environmental, and HR professionals.
• Documenting and managing patient care using Medcor’s EMR.
