Job summary

Mi Casa Hospice – San Antonio is seeking a compassionate PRN CNA to join our hospice team in the San Antonio area. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care in homes or facilities, support ADLs, and assist in maintaining patient comfort and dignity at end of life.

Requirements include active Texas CNA certification, 1 year CNA experience (hospice preferred), reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the service area.

Qualifications

• Active Texas CNA certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel throughout service area.
• Strong communication and compassionate care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to hospice patients in homes or facilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
