Job summary

Pollard Banknote Limited is seeking a reliable Security Officer to support our Security team at the Ypsilanti Plant. You will enforce safety and security policies, monitor entrances, review footage, and assist with day-to-day issues to protect company property and personnel.

The role requires high school education, solid communication and report writing skills, and prior security experience. You will work on-site with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Report writing skills required.
• Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Prior experience in law enforcement or security preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, and endure long shifts; PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of premises, products and personnel; review security footage and monitor access.
• Run, update and write security, incident, and activity reports; monitor alarm functionality.
• Provide assistance to employees, customers, contractors, visitors, and vendors; manage employee badges.
• Conduct new employee, visitor, contractor, and vendor orientations and authorizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned; process criminal record checks.
