Job summary

Community Health Centers is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join the Medical Department. Under the Director of Nursing's supervision, you will perform blood collection for lab testing and support phlebotomy duties with a focus on accuracy and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical/laboratory setting.
• Pass a criminal history background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and perform venipunctures.
• Provide quality customer service following AIDET standards.
• Verify patient identity and insurance information; document results and test orders.
• Maintain specimen integrity and proper labeling, handling, and transport of specimens.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant phlebotomy station and infection control practices.
