Equipaws Pet Services is a Miami-area, woman-owned pet care company offering pet sitting and dog walking services since 2011. We are seeking AM/PM and weekend Pet Care Specialists to join our team of pet-loving individuals in Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Excellent pet handling skills and intuition.
• You must be comfortable working with dogs of varying sizes and breeds.
• Dependability and trustworthiness, strong time management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, able to remain professional and courteous with clients at all times.
• Comfortable and adept at getting around the city safely.
• Be available for weekends and holidays (we work when our clients play). Holiday work is required.
• Our dog walkers must be 18 or over.
• You must be able to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• You need a car (with insurance), e-mail, and smartphone to work with us.

Responsibilities

• Care for dogs and cats in their neighborhood with structured visits.
• Design schedules to limit travel time between visits.
• Take dogs for walks, provide water, and offer treats or medications as requested.
• Engage with cats, tidy litter box, refresh water, and share treats or medications.
• Cater to the needs of vacation clients, including home care tasks like trash and mail.
• Share your pet care journal with the pet parent after each visit.
• Maintain passion for dogs, cats, and all things fuzzy; seek guidance from management as needed.
