Job summary
The YMCA of the North is seeking certified Personal Trainers to help members of all ages achieve their health and wellness goals. This role offers flexible schedules, access to an engaged member base, competitive pay, a free YMCA membership, paid session prep time, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Full-time and part-time opportunities exist with benefits for eligible full-time staff, including medical, dental, PTO, and a free YMCA membership.
Qualifications
- NCCA-accredited and/or nationally recognized Personal Training Certification required or equivalent.
- CPR/PR and AED certifications due within 30 days of hire.
- Formal training in the specialty class taught and ability to demonstrate movements.
- Customer service and verbal communication skills with clients and members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and instruct personal and group training sessions for clients.
- Track health history and fitness assessments for program planning.
- Promote and sell personal training services while meeting revenue goals.
- Maintain required certifications and adhere to safety policies.
