Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. in Chatham, MI seeks a Personal Care Aide to assist an elderly male Veteran with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to help him remain independent at home. This is a long-term, part-time position offering 11 hours per week.

Pay is $22 per hour (base $18 plus $4 bonus for meeting agreed shifts). Training is available, a TB skin test is required, and a background check will be performed prior to employment.

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• We can train on the specifics of the job.
• TB skin test required if not done recently.
• A background check will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to support independence at home.
• Help the elderly Veteran stay safe and comfortable in daily activities.
• Follow care plan and report any changes to supervisor.
